DESCRIPTION: This presentation is inspired by Comprehensive Literacy for All, and designed to equip Louisiana special education leaders with effective, research-based strategies for teaching literacy to students with significant disabilities. This session will explore many components of comprehensive literacy instruction, and give participants practical tools to create learning environments that foster communication, engagement, and literacy growth for all learners, regardless of ability.
