This lunch and learn explores the use of AAC as an evidence-based support for students with selective mutism. Participants will learn when and why AAC may be recommended and how it can support communication while reducing pressure to speak. The session will include demonstrations of AAC features and practical considerations for implementation in school settings. This session is designed as a practical technology assist to help teams consider AAC tools that support student participation and communication.
